Two of the artists in the 12 x 36 show are Gallery Revisited regulars:
Michael Hsiung and Jessica Robbins.
They currently have work up in our 4 year anniversary show.
It is a real eclectic group show, featuring one piece by each artist that has had a solo show at Gallery Revisited since we opened in 2003.
The work that Michael and Jessica will be doing for the 12 x 36 show should be exciting to see - a real departure from their norm. Especially since photography is not their usual medium.
Michael does narrative drawings
and Jessica is a painter.
The premise that Benjamin Kaplan came up with is pretty cool - LOMO sent cameras to each of the 12 artists in the show...they each took one roll of film.
3 images from each artist will be show in the show, along with the proof sheet of the entire roll of film - courtesy of ICON.
And I am happy to host all of the artists....this should be one to see for sure.
